TIMELINE

The Early Years

Equinox
Marvah
Quatermass
Kalimdor
Mar'vah is born. Xana'du is born. The Darkspears join the Horde.
A dark-furred member of the Grimtotem tribe and a light-furred member of the Bloodhoof tribe have a son. They name him "Equinox", a balance of dark and light. Mar'vah and her father relocate to the Echo Isles. When his parents are killed by the Bloodscalps, Xana'du escapes north into Westfall. Thrall meets Cairne Bloodhoof. As Cairne gathers the tauren tribes, Celeste is unhappy with the Bloodhoof's influence. She leaves her new family and the tribe behind.
During the tauren's last battle with the centaurs in Mulgore, Equinox's father is killed defending the burgeoning village of Bloodhoof. Equinox is found nearby and becomes a ward of the state. Mar'vah decides to be a druid when she grows up. The Masseys, a human couple that belong to a group of pacifists called the Quaters, find Xana'du and adopt him. During the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Garctic's father is killed by Rage Winterchill. The lich, in turn, is killed by Garctic's platoon.
Admiral Daelin Proudmoore's Kul Tiras fleet attacks Durotar. The Darkspears evacuate the Echo Isles. The Masseys meet a tauren (a time travelling Equinox) for the first time. Shell-shocked, Garctic doesn't follow the Horde back to Durotar. Instead, he wanders north into Winterspring.
Taking Vol'jin's advice, Mar'vah leaves her father at Orgimmar's Veterans Home. The Quater community slowly falls apart as people move from the area. Cairne establishes Thunder Bluff.
Equinox: The Early Years

Garctic meets Fumfkin.
Equinox arrives at Camp Taurajo and starts mining to make ends meet. As most flight paths have yet to be established, Mar'vah makes the long and dangerous journey to Moonglade on foot. The Defias Brotherhood invades Westfall. Believing his parents are dead, Xana'du heads to Stranglethorn Vale.
Bored and living alone in a small tent, Equinox dreams of being a great warrior. Due to racial barriers, Keeper Remulos refuses Mar'vah entry into the ranks of Moonglade's druids. Nevertheless, Mar'vah remains in Nighthaven, learning what she can. Xana'du changes his name to Quatermass while hanging around Booty Bay. His petty crimes get him kicked out of town on a continual basis. Celeste pledges her allegiance to Thrall. She becomes one of the first taurens to be sent overseas to fight the Scourge. Before leaving, Thrall asks her to periodically report on their new allies, the Forsaken.
Mar'vah feels her racial heritage is holding her back. Not coincidentally, she stops pronouncing her name with an accent.
Equinox Meets a Friend Quatermass sneaks aboard a ship bound for Kalimdor. Discovered, he is thrown overboard, but manages to swim ashore in Dustwallow Marsh. The Snowcone Triumvirate is established. It's a network for moving Azeroth's only illegal narcotic through Darnassus, Ironforge, and Stormwind.
Equinox begins writing stories. Marvah takes a job as an archivist in Orgrimmar which allows her time to study a broad range of topics. Quatermass moves around the Barrens and Durotar looking for work and staying at various flophouses.
