into Westfall. |
Thrall
meets Cairne
Bloodhoof. As Cairne gathers the
tauren tribes, Celeste is unhappy with the Bloodhoof's influence. She
leaves her new family and the tribe behind. |

the tauren's
last battle with the centaurs in Mulgore, Equinox's father is
killed defending the burgeoning village of Bloodhoof. Equinox
is found nearby and becomes a ward of the state. |
Mar'vah
decides to be a druid
when she grows up. |
The
Masseys, a human
couple that belong to a group of pacifists called the Quaters, find
Xana'du and adopt him. |
During
the Battle of
Mount
Hyjal, Garctic's father is killed by Rage Winterchill. The
lich, in turn, is killed by Garctic's platoon. |

Proudmoore's Kul Tiras fleet attacks Durotar. The Darkspears evacuate
the Echo Isles. |
The
Masseys meet a tauren (a time
travelling Equinox) for the first time. |
Shell-shocked,
Garctic doesn't follow the Horde back to Durotar. Instead, he wanders
north into Winterspring. |

advice, Mar'vah leaves her father at Orgimmar's Veterans Home. |
The
Quater community
slowly falls apart as people move from the area. |
Cairne
establishes

have yet to be established, Mar'vah makes the long and
dangerous journey to Moonglade on foot. |

Defias
Brotherhood invades Westfall. Believing his
parents are dead, Xana'du heads to Stranglethorn Vale. |

and living alone in a small
tent, Equinox dreams
of being a great warrior. |
Due
to racial
barriers, Keeper Remulos refuses Mar'vah entry into the ranks of
Moonglade's druids. Nevertheless, Mar'vah remains in Nighthaven,
learning what she can. |
Xana'du
changes his
name
to Quatermass while hanging around Booty Bay. His petty crimes get him
kicked out of town on a continual basis. |
Celeste
pledges her
allegiance to Thrall. She becomes one of the first taurens to be sent
overseas to fight the Scourge. Before leaving, Thrall asks her to
periodically report on their new allies, the Forsaken. |

Mar'vah
feels her
racial heritage is holding her
back. Not coincidentally, she stops pronouncing her name
with an accent. |

Meets a Friend |
|
Quatermass
sneaks
aboard a ship bound for Kalimdor. Discovered, he is thrown
overboard, but manages to swim ashore in Dustwallow Marsh. |
The
Snowcone
Triumvirate is established. It's a network for moving Azeroth's only
illegal narcotic through Darnassus, Ironforge, and Stormwind. |
| Equinox
begins
writing stories. |
Marvah
takes a job as
an archivist in Orgrimmar which allows her time to study a broad range
of topics. |
Quatermass
moves
around the Barrens and Durotar looking for work and staying at various
flophouses. |

One: The Nifty

begins sending submissions (Equinox

Adventure Stories
magazine. They are rejected. |

goblin sells
Equinox a blank tabard by convincing him it's armor. |
Marvah,
in a last
attempt at becoming a druid, travels to Thunder Bluff. Arch Druid
Hamuul Runetotem regretfully repeats the standard line: trolls can't
become druids. |

returns to
Bloodhoof Village to pick up his latest edition of Tauren
Adventure Stories. While there,
he meets Marvah. |

Adventure
Stories continues to reject
them. |
Stormfront
wants to
have Equinox kidnapped and tortured. He hides his tracks by hiring two
Horde members through a night elf. The night elf, however,
double-crosses Stormfront by offering the kidnappers gold for any
military information they can get out of Equinox. Both the elf and the
Horde members are unaware that the stories of Equinox's heroics are
false. |

trail to his parents turns cold in the

becomes demoralized. Outside Tarren
Mill, Stormfront claims he knows where the Masseys are, so
Quatermass strikes a deal with him. |

Moonglade and then move south. The Horde and Alliance join forces to
defeat the Scourge at the Battle of Irontree Woods. Meanwhile, the

to a deserted island far off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale. As far as
the public knows, the one known as "The Traitor" was killed in

fight border skirmishes with the Scourge. Officer Garush, however,

She becomes the
first to infiltrate Naxxramas, but is killed by Kel'Thuzad. |

Two: Sacrifices

Cata'clysm
gets three Scourge to find and rescue Quatermass. Unbeknownst to
Cata'clysm, Quatermass kills his escort and goes off on his
own. |
| Affliction |
Quatermass,
using his
real name Xana'du, arrives in Orgrimmar. Meanwhile, in preparation for
the reawakening of the Lich King, Kel'Thuzad offers
Nazjatar's Pride as a reward if Cata'clysm helps to create a Doomsday
Plague. |
| Bloodlines |
Marvah
joins the
Cenarion Circle. |
| The
Ceremony |
Bolt
becomes editor
of Tauren Adventure Stories. Meanwhile,
Cata'clysm becomes the Snowcone Dyad's Horde partner. |
| Publication.
Although Bolt plans on printing Equinox's stories, he
never publishes a single issue of Tauren
Adventure
Stories. The magazine soon
closes its doors forever. |
Marvah
joins the
battle against the Qiraji, but restricts her actions to healing.
Meanwhile, there is an increase in snowcones in Kalimdor. |

Hunter |
Dignity.
Cairne creates the Tauren Anticoner Squad and appoints Dashett to lead
it. Meanwhile, Quatermass tries to discover a way to reverse Marvah's
mana-draining spell. |
| The
Fuzz |
The
Snowcone Dyad
loses Ratchet as part of their network. The Tauren Anticoner Squad
moves their base of operations to Orgrimmar. But despite many arrests,
snowcones continue to flow into the city. |
| The
Competition |
Cata'clysm
begins his
experiments to create a Doomsday Plague. His first field test involves
spiking the fresh water being sent to the
Tauren Outpost in Silithus. |
| Reunion.
Quatermass kills Taragaman the Hungerer. This indirectly marks
the
beginning of the end for the the
Shadow Council's operations in
Ragefire. |
Aware
that Quatermass
is alive, Cata'clysm sends word to the Dyad, ordering them to capture
Quatermass. |
| The
Film |
The
Tauren Outpost is
hit by a strange illness. Cairne sends asks Marvah to investigate.
Meanwhile, Cata'clysm kidnaps
Tayen and imprisons her in Shadowfang Keep. He then heads to his second
base in Karazhan. |
| Feinting |
Cata'clysm
receives a
map from Kel'Thuzad. Meanwhile, Dashett, investigating ties between
Cata'clysm and the snowcone
industry, suspects Cata'clysm is
responsible for Tayen's
disappearance. |
| The
Conversation |
Before
returning to
Kalimdor, Cata'clysm hires two human mercenaries. He also sends
Quatermass
papers for Tayen's business, telling him to process them. |
| The
Quest |
Cata'clysm
returns to
Shadowprey Village and again spikes the fresh water being sent
to
the Tauren Outpost in Silithus. Dashett -- who is
now following him -- sneaks into his hotel room and steals the
Nazjatar's Pride map.
Cata'clysm's four lackies pick up the crystals he needs in the
Veiled Sea, Zoram Strand, and Ruins of Mathystra.
Dashett follows Cata'clysm to Ratchet. |
| The
Switch |
Cata'clysm
sends
the two humans to Shadowfang, while the two elves are sent to Nek'mani
Wellspring to recover the fourth crystal. |
| The
Investigation |
Cata'clysm
pretends
to head north from Booty Bay, but actually turns west. Dashett loses
him and heads to the Undercity. |
| The
Emissaries |
Cata'clysm
arrives at
Karazhan. Distressed at his plague's low success rate, he experiments
on the Dyad. The dwarf dies, while the human goes through the
traditional Scourge process of death and resurrection.
Cata'clysm arrives at the Eastern Strand to pick up the fifth crystal.
Meanwhile, the two elves head for Feathermoon. |

Cata'clysm
arrives at
Shadowfang and experiments on
his two human henchmen but gets the usual results.
Cata'clysm is about to try again, using Tayen as his test
subject, when Equinox and Dashett break
into the Keep.
Marvah arrives at Karazhan. Realizing that Cata'clysm is going to use
snowcones to spread the plague, she sends word to
Thrall.
After knocking Equinox off the Thandol Span, Cata'clysm heads to
Menethil Harbor. He sends word to Quatermass to meet him in Feralas. |
| The
Execution |
Thrall
alerts Magni
Bronzebeard and Tyrande Whisperwind to Cata'clysm's plan. Both the
Horde and the
Alliance
immediately set out to smash the snowcone industry.
Bolt arrives at the Warsong Lumber Camp to indulge in his latest
addiction. There, he briefly meets Weathervain.
Meanwhile, across the river, all hell has broken out in Orgrimmar.
Although Cata'clysm's plague is ineffectual and only a few people turn
into Scourge, paranoia over the plague spreads. Mobs attack coners and
users alike.
Upon arriving at Theramore Isle, Cata'clysm learns the
Alliance
has been warned about him and his plague. He quickly slips
out of the city. Knowing his contacts are
rapidly disappearing, Cata'clysm realizes Quatermass's lack of
mana
has now become
a pressing issue. He sends word to Quatermass to convince Marvah meet
him. |
| Crossroads |
The
elves recover the sixth and final crystal. Even though the
consolidation of the crystals hasn't yet occurred, Cata'clysm
experiences an increase in power. Temptation. |
| The
Letter |
The
Horde and the
Alliance divert soldiers from their borders to fight the coners. With
Cata'clysm no longer involved and the Dyad dead, the snowcone
industry collapses. Meanwhile, the Scourge -- aware
that the southern borders of the Plaguelands are thinly defended -- are
on the move again.
Thrall, having sent back Sylvanas's troops, has few soldiers to spare
to hunt down Cata'clysm. |
| The
Scourge |
Cata'clysm,
unable to
approach Horde or Alliance villages, makes his way slowly
through
Desolace and Stonetalon Mountains. When he arrives in Azshara,
a
small Horde detachment is waiting for him. He quickly kills
them and continues on to Eldarath. Quatermass, knowing he can't take
on Cata'clysm alone, waits for Marvah. |

Cata'clysm
sneaks
into the Ruins where the consolidation of the crystals creates
Nazjatar's Pride. With his new power, Cata'clysm takes on a
dozen
Naga and wipes them out. |

of their age and ailments, Equinox and Marvah leave their tent on the
Spirit
Rise and take up residence in Thunder Bluff's Veterans Home. Once
again, Equinox has become a ward of the state. |
The Ashen Verdict
convinces the Horde and the Alliance to join
forces for a final all-out assault on the Icecrown
Citadel. |
| Farewell
to the Fuzzy |
The
largest
cross-faction military force in Azeroth's history begins to assembly on
the
shores of Dragonblight. |

Fumfkin dies
peacefully of old age, surrounded by his mate, his children, and his
grandcubs |
The
Far Future
Twice
a year, on the
mornings of the spring and fall equinoxes, tauren children wake up to
find watermelons waiting for them outside their tents. Their parents
tell
them that the spirit of a great warrior left them, and that if the
children listen very carefully, they may hear a "Ho ho!" far off in the
distance.
